    Faculty Information Sessions

Did you get the chance to meet with a faculty member from your intended major? If not, this is a great way to spend 1.5 hours to learn how faculty support and advise students and information about coursework, internships, clubs and organizations and more! The Faculty Information Sessions (Fridays) are held in conjunction with Admitted Students Day (Saturdays) in case you want to spend the weekend at SRU! Students who attend will receive a special gift from us.

Are you considering Exercise Science as your major?
If you're considering the March 3rd Faculty Information Session, please instead register for the special Exercise Science Day on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 1:30pm

    • Exercise Science Day has a capacity and is first come, first served. If this event fills up, please register for one of the other two Faculty Information Sessions where you'll still meet with faculty, students and get to see their facilities.
    • If you cannot make the March 3rd Exercise Science Day, sign up for one of the other two Faculty Information Sessions where you'll still meet with faculty, students and get to see their facilities.
    • If you already attended Exercise Science Day back in November, please do not register again since it is the same event.
    • Questions? Email admissions and we'll help!

    • Have the opportunity to meet individually with financial aid to go over cost, financial aid and scholarships
    • Tour campus (including our residence halls)
    • Have the option to connect with the Office of Disability Services
    • Receive special gifts for attending

    Multicultural Admitted Student Days

This special event welcomes admitted students and families from historically underrepresented and underserved groups to explore SRU.

How is this different than the Admitted Students Days?
Families will learn about the multicultural student experience and be introduced to academic and campus life services committed to supporting a diverse student body. The day will also include financial aid session for parents, meeting with current students, a mock class, tour of campus and lunch in our dining hall.

Students who are interested in meeting with faculty from their academic department can register for the Faculty Information Session (registration is listed above) that will occur directly after the event.
