Hear directly from current students, learn how SRU will prepare you for life after graduation, explore campus, connect with Financial Aid, and discover all you have to look forward to at SRU.
ROCK SOLID BEGINNINGS
Find your place at The Rock. Rock Solid Beginnings is a small-group experience for admitted students and families focused on the people, resources, and opportunities that will support you throughout your SRU experience.
You'll connect with current students, faculty, and staff while learning how SRU creates a welcoming community where students from all backgrounds can thrive. During the day, you'll:
- Learn about Financial Aid, with an opportunity for a one-on-one meeting.
- Experience an SRU class.
- Connect with our Success Coaching Team.
- Learn about the Jump Start mentorship program and Office for Inclusive Excellence.
- Explore resources and next steps to help you start strong and succeed at SRU.
Make the most of your visit! Rock Solid Beginnings can be paired with a Faculty Information Session offered the same day for an even more complete look at life at SRU.
Rock Solid Beginnings will be held on Friday, February 19 before our Faculty Information Session. Event registration will open later this fall.
- Our tours are walking tours. If you need accommodations, such as the use of a wheelchair, please indicate that on your visit registration form.
- These events are separate from your mandatory First-Year Orientation.
- Coaches are not a part of our events. Prospective student-athletes should fill out the prospective student-athlete questionnaire to make contact with an SRU coach at www.rockathletics.com.
