Faculty Information Sessions
Have you had the chance to meet with a faculty member from your intended major? If not, these Faculty Information Sessions are a great way to engage with your future academic department and understand more about your major, coursework, internships, student clubs and organizations, and academic advising.
Admitted Student Days
Whether you are still deciding on a college or already committed to SRU, this event is designed for you to learn more about The Rock — including straight from the students themselves via a student panel. Learn how we'll prepare you for life after SRU, meet individually with Financial Aid, hear from Housing, and tour campus.
Rock Solid Beginnings
Via our Rock Solid Beginnings program on Friday, March 27, admitted students and families are invited to learn how SRU creates an inclusive environment that fosters academic success and social opportunities. You will learn about offices and support services that help students of all backgrounds find both academic success and a supportive community at The Rock. This small group day includes meetings with current students, faculty, staff, lunch on campus, and the following:
- Learn about Financial Aid, with an opportunity for a one-on-one meeting
- Experience a mock class
- Connect with our Success Coaching Team
- Hear from SRU's Jump Start mentorship program and our Office for Inclusive Excellence
- Review next steps to becoming a successful SRU student
Rock Solid Beginnings can be paired with the Faculty Information Session occurring on the same day to make the most of your campus visit!
- Our tours are walking tours. If you need accommodations, such as the use of a wheelchair, please contact us before your visit.
- These events are separate from the mandatory First-Year Orientation.
- Coaches are not a part of our events. Prospective student-athletes should fill out the prospective student-athlete questionnaire to make contact with an SRU coach at www.rockathletics.com.
