    Music Major for a Day

    If you're interested in a Music major, this is a special event just for you!

    The Slippery Rock University Music Department and the Slippery Rock University Chapter of Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association would like to invite any high school student to become a music major for a day.  The day will include a mixture of classes, ensembles, and a chance to talk to students and faculty.

    Honors Day

    If you're interested in the Honors College, this is a special event just for you!

    You will learn more about what the Honors College has to offer motivated and talented students like yourself. You will have the opportunity to meet with the director of the Honors College, connect with current Honors College students, participate in sample Honors classes, have lunch in Boozel Dining Hall and tour campus!

    EXERCISE SCIENCE DAY

    Due to the popularity and space limitations for this event, Exercise Science Day is only open to students planning to enroll at SRU in 2025. 


    If you're interested in Exercise Science, this special events are just for you! You will have the opportunity to:

    • Meet Exercise Science faculty, current students and alumni
    • Get a feel for what exercise science students study by touring their labs and classrooms and learn from faculty and current students
    • Learn about the pre-athletic training, pre-chiropractic, pre-occupational therapy, pre-physician assistant, and pre-physical therapy advising tracks
    • Tour Patterson Hall which is the home of the Exercise Science program
    • Take a full campus tour with a current SRU student at the beginning of the event (optional)
