    COUNSELOR COFFEE CHATS

    Looking for a personalized way to explore Slippery Rock University? Join us for a Counselor Coffee Chat — a relaxed, one-on-one campus visit designed around you.

    During your visit, you'll have a chance to: 

    • Discuss academic programs options during your one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor.
    • Learn about the various scholarships and financial aid opportunities available to support your education.
    • Tour campus with a current SRU student, explore our housing options to find your home away from home, or receive assistance as you complete your SRU application.

    Whether you've already been accepted, are working on completing your application, or are just starting to explore your options, this individual campus visit is perfect for you!

    Virtual Office Hours with SRU

    Have questions about Slippery Rock University? Join Virtual Office Hours with SRU for one-on-one conversations with a member of our team. These 15-minute virtual appointments are a great opportunity for students and families to ask individual questions about admissions, academics, or next steps in the enrollment process.

    Music Major for a Day

    Have you ever envisioned yourself as a Music, Music Therapy, or Music Education major? Live that life for a day!

    The Slippery Rock University Music Department and the Slippery Rock University Chapter of Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association would like to invite any high school student to become a music major for a day. The day will include a mixture of classes, ensembles, and the chance to talk to students and faculty.

    EXERCISE SCIENCE DAY

    Wondering if Exercise Science is the right fit for you? Join us for Exercise Science Day, where you will have the opportunity to:

    • Meet Exercise Science faculty, students, and alumni
    • Get a feel for what Exercise Science students study by touring their labs and classrooms
    • Learn about the Pre-Athletic Training, Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Physician Assistant, and Pre-Physical Therapy advising tracks
    An optional, full campus tour with a current SRU student will also be available prior to the event.


    ENGINEERING DAY

    If you’re considering Engineering as a future profession, join us for a special event designed to give you a closer look at SRU’s engineering programs. You’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Meet Engineering faculty and current students
    • Experience engineering labs through mock classes led by faculty
    • Learn about civil, mechanical, industrial & systems, and petroleum & natural gas engineering programs at SRU
    • Take an optional full campus tour with a current SRU student at the start of the event
